What is the process of checking in for shipments?

Checking in for shipments is referred to as "gating in."

What are the specific requirements for an LCL shipment check-in?

For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, they must gate in at the Container Freight Station (CFS) before the CFS Cut-off.

For container shipments, the container must gate in at the Container Yard (CY) before the CY cut-off.
