What is a Liftgate?

A liftgate is a transportation equipment used for cargo handling.

How does a Liftgate work?

  • A liftgate enables cargo to be lowered from a truck's back to the ground.
  • It is used when goods cannot be unloaded through other methods, like using a loading dock.

When is a Liftgate Required?

A liftgate is necessary when:

  • Unloading cannot be done through a loading dock.
  • The delivery location requires the use of a liftgate.

Are There Any Additional Costs?

Yes, if a liftgate is required at the delivery location, a liftgate fee will apply.
